Member of Oppenhoff & Rädler management committee,
responsible for IT infrastructure (1998/1999)

 

Consolidation and standardization of various software platforms in order to create one IT platform for one law firm from the systems of the various preceding law firms and in addition, responsible for the preparation of the smooth changeover to the year 2000 (the millennium bug)

Managing Partner of Oppenhoff & Rädler (1999/2000)

​

  • Centralization and professionalization of the business management of the law firm, sustained increased quality of the administrative staff with the goal of relieving the partners of all matters not relating to case work

  • Restructuring of the law firm from a location-oriented law firm to a “practice area law firm“, in order to facilitate the formation of a law firm through cross-location team work

  • Handling and organization of as well as attendance at the merger negotiations with Linklaters

  • Merger preparation in Oppenhoff & Rädler: Further professionalization of the law firm

  • Restructuring of O&R prior to the merger, assurance of a smooth and successful transition into Linklaters

 

German Managing Partner von Linklaters (2001/2007)

​

  • Integration of the German office into Linklaters, development of business plans for the individual sections

  • Further professionalization and internationalization of the business management

  • Aligning and focusing the practice areas with the goal of making Linklaters one of the market leading firms in Germany as adviser of large German and foreign companies as well as banks and other financial institutions (this goal was achieved in 2009 as is verified by the pertinent rankings, e.g., in JUVE)

  • Member of the world-wide management committee (Executive Committee) of Linklaters from 2002 to 2007; during this phase Linklaters developed into a homogeneously managed and strategically focused law firm which still today is deemed to be exemplary
